Congratulations to the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25

Each year, Gartner researches hundreds of supply chains to identify the priorities, investments, and innovations shaping the supply chain industry—and publishes its annual ranking of the world’s top supply chains. This year’s findings not only spotlight the leaders, but also reveal valuable insights companies can use to make the business case for their own supply chain transformation.

In 2025, three macro trends stand out:

  • Agentic AI – AI that acts on behalf of humans, driving faster, more informed decisions.
  • Autonomous Operations – Moving beyond isolated automation to truly connected, self-optimizing systems.
  • Water Stewardship – Treating water not only as a sustainability metric, but as a strategic business resource.

At Made4net, we see these same priorities playing out among the customers we serve. Leading supply chains aren’t simply adding automation—they’re orchestrating connected workflows across warehouses, transportation, and fulfillment networks. They’re designing systems that are adaptive, data-driven, and capable of acting in real time. And like this year’s Top 25, they’re embedding sustainability into core operational strategies, knowing that responsible resource management is inseparable from long-term resilience.

A Closer Look at the Supply Chain Leaders

Leading the rankings for the third consecutive year, Schneider Electric stands out for its sophisticated application of AI, flexible network planning capabilities, and seamless integration of sustainability into its core business objectives. As Simon Bailey, Senior Director Analyst at Gartner and co-author of the report, explains, Schneider exemplifies how the supply chain is no longer a back-office function. It’s a central driver of business success—delivering both resilience and value.

Rounding out the top five are NVIDIA, Cisco Systems, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson—each celebrated for their forward-thinking leadership and steadfast commitment to innovation. And, completing the top ten are L’Oréal, Colgate-Palmolive, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Danone, all of which demonstrate exceptional vision and execution across their supply chain strategies.

The report also publishes a list of Supply Chain Masters, a special designation given to companies that have attained top 5 composite scores in the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 for at least seven out of the last 10 years. This year, Amazon, Apple, Procter & Gamble, and Unilever made the cut.

In an interview with Supply Chain Management Review, Bailey shared the factors that set the Top 25 apart—and offered insights any organization can learn from. The full Gartner Top 25 rankings can be viewed here.
