Made4net Receives Supply & Demand Chain Executive Top Supply Chain Projects Award
This award spotlights successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value across a range of supply chain functions
Teaneck, NJ – July 26, 2022 – Made4net, a global provider of cloud-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) & end-to-end supply chain execution software, today announced Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, selected Made4net as a recipient of the Top Supply Chain Projects Award for 2022. The Top Supply Chain Projects spotlights successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across a range of supply chain functions.
Made4net earned its spot in the Top Supply Chain Projects implementing its cutting-edge solutions at Dekko, a leading provider of workplace LED lighting, power delivery systems and engineered electrical components and assemblies. Dekko converted a manufacturing facility to a warehouse and needed to handle traditional orders from their clients in addition to e-commerce orders. With the new warehouse management system, Dekko hoped to see gains in picking accuracy, productivity, and on-time in-full shipments.
Dekko implemented Made4net WarehouseExpert WMS at its Ardmore, AL warehouse in August 2020. Made4net’s highly configurable and agile solutions were an ideal fit for this facility because they could integrate with Dekko’s existing ERP and manage various types of order fulfillment and shipping, including e-commerce.
With the help of Made4net solutions, all the KPIs Dekko set were met and sustained:
- Picking accuracy 99.9%
- OTIF shipments are at 99.8%
- average pieces picked per hour went from 350 to 750
- receiving to put away went from 450 pieces per hour to 1,300 pieces per hour
- The number of staff members required to manage the program has been reduced by 50%
“The Made4net team is honored to receive this award, and we’re even more pleased with the value our customer Dekko has seen since implementing our WMS,” said Duff Davidson, Made4net CEO. “Today’s supply chains are more complicated than ever, and we’re proud to provide configurable, agile solutions that can bend and flex with our customers’ needs so that they can meet their customers’ needs.”
“The past 18 months have been a tumultuous time for U.S. supply chains,” says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “But the core reason today’s supply chains haven’t completely fallen apart is because solution providers have been working diligently to partner with customers and clients to streamline processes, implement emerging technology and deliver results that improve bottom lines and the environment. For many of these collaborations, it’s about achieving full visibility, complete forecasting, end-to-end leverage and the ultimate in sustainability.”
