Title of position: Application Support Engineer

Location:  Hybrid, some onsite work required

Office is in Teaneck, NJ. The building has many amenities, including a spa & gym (discounted for tenants), Starbucks, deli, restaurant, and covered, free secured parking that is connected to the building. Currently implemented hybrid office (3 days)/work from home (2 days). New employees will be expected to spend more time in the office until fully trained before going to hybrid mode. Travel to client sites, while not extensive, is occasionally required especially during client training and go live. Supply chain execution is a time sensitive mission critical
environment.

Purpose of the Job:

The Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing support and ensuring that the applications used within Made4Net are effective and efficient. You will provide support to Made4Net customers with integrations to make sure clients are set up for whatever they need. This is a customer-focused focused hands-on role. The Application Support Engineer works closely with the IT and project management teams to identify and fix software issues and optimize application performance.

Description of responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of dedicated engineers supporting client operations using Made4net’s applications.
  • Providing responses and follow up to client issues and questions through direct phone assistance and ticketing/email system.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and follow escalation procedures according to client service level agreements.
  • Periodic follow up with clients to review status and ongoing needs.
  • Participate when needed in implementations during initial go live and system upgrades – Travel may be required.
  • Participate in a rotating schedule of off hours on call for clients with 24/7 operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Windows Workstation and Server environments
  • Familiar with Web Browser(s) and Web Server (IIS) environments
  • Familiar with SQL server databases and programming
  • Strong knowledge of office tools
  • Familiar use of Remote Desktop and VPN
  • Preferred:
    • Hosted Customer Support Experience
    • Familiarity with AWS
    • Prior experience in warehousing, transportation, logistics and or similar applications experience
  • Experience with use and support of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM or similar.
  • Strong computer and application usage skills.

Pay range:  $62,000.00 – $72,000.00
