Purpose of the Job:

Our Professional Services team plays a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting our software across a diverse of customers.

The PMO Operations Manager will drive operational excellence within the Professional Services organization. They will oversee portfolio tracking, resource planning, process optimization, and reporting functions to ensure predictable, high-quality project delivery. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is passionate about building high-performance teams.

Description of responsibilities:

  • Partner with Practice Leaders, Project Managers, and Delivery Leads to forecast capacity, manage demand, and support effective resource allocation.
  • Track and report on project health, resource utilization, financial performance, and delivery KPIs.
  • Establish and manage PMO frameworks, tools, and processes that support scalable and consistent delivery across projects.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline operations, including automation of reporting and enhancement of project governance.
  • Facilitate regular project reviews and executive reporting, highlighting risks, trends, and performance insights.
  • Support onboarding and continuous enablement of delivery team members on PMO processes and tools.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in PMO or operations management roles, preferably within a software or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Experience managing project portfolio operations and delivery metrics at scale.
  • Proficiency in project and resource management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Mavenlink, Jira, Salesforce).
  • Analytical mindset with advanced Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications a plus.

Pay range: starting yearly salary at $90,000.00

This position offers a competitive salary package that is commensurate with your years of experience in the field and the specific skills you bring to the role.
