Project Manager

Work Environment:
Office is in Teaneck, NJ. The building has many amenities, including a spa & gym (discounted for tenants),
Starbucks, deli, restaurant, and covered, free secured parking that is connected to the building. Currently
implemented hybrid office (3 days)/work from home (2 days). New employees will be expected to spend more time in
the office until fully trained before going to hybrid mode. Travel to client sites, while not extensive, is occasionally
required especially during client training and go live. Supply chain execution is a time sensitive mission critical
environment. Applicants should consider that demanding deadlines and quick responses are an essential part of this
job.
In this role you will participate in project implementation, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. As such,
the position requires an elevated level of face-to-face interaction with clients and implementation team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop detailed specific system implementation and configuration plan to comply with project requirements.
  • Requires active contribution to support software configuration and delivery.
  • This role regularly interacts with development team and other cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in onsite support for system training and go-live.
  • Project Management:
  • Develop and track full project plan to include goals, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and work with implementation team throughout full project cycle.
  • Regularly communicate with client stakeholders and team member.
  • Manage and coordinate client responsibilities and expectations.
  • Track project budget, billables and adherence to scope and changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 4-6 years of relevant experience working in a customer facing role preferably
    within software in supply chain or other enterprise systems.
  • Experience in project management, including project planning, prioritizing objectives, and status reporting.
    Strong technical background preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development and Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft system tools: Windows, IIS, SQL Server
  • Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    20% – 30% travel required.
